Chennai: Personnel from the ranks of the police to the assistant commissioner of the police in the city will be identified as ‘star players’ this month for their extraordinary work other than their routine good work.
Police Commissioner Shankar Jiwal has asked all Deputy Commissioners including Central Crime Branch, City Intelligence Wing, and the Security Chennai Police, in the city to suggest the name of the police who qualified for the Star Performer Month Award.
Extraordinary performers will be given a special certificate, 6,000 and police photos will be displayed in the police monthly magazine.
