China vowed to respond after US sanctions Xinjiang passed

Beijing – China on Friday said it would take all the steps needed to protect the institutions and companies after the US Senate issued a new law of import restrictions from the Xinjiang region unless businesses could prove that they were produced without forced labor.
Foreign Ministry spokesman Wang Wenbin said Thursday’s approved step “shows that the US does not have a disturbance about smearing China by all means.” “Relevant actions seriously damage the economic principles of the market and economic regulations and international trade, and seriously damage the interests of the institutions and Chinese companies,” Wang told reporters with a daily briefing.
“China deeply regretted and rejected and urged the US to immediately correct his mistake.
China will take all the necessary steps to expressly protect legitimate rights and interests on Chinese institutions and companies,” said Wang.
This law is the latest in a series that intensified US punishment for alleged ethnic and religious abuse in China that was widespread in the western region, especially Xinjiang dominated by Uyghurs Muslims.
President Joe Biden, who is expected to sign law after overcoming the initial doubts of the White House and what the supporting supporter is the opposition from the company, also announces new sanctions on Thursday.
The targets are several Chinese biotech companies and surveillance, leading drone manufacturers and government entities for their actions in Xinjiang.
