Gurgaon: A 53-year-old man, who underwent treatment for colon cancer and has been tested positively Covid-19, giving up on infection due to complications on Saturday.
This is the death of 22 because of the infection of the virus that will be reported in February.
So far, 57 people surrendered to this year’s virus, officials said.
A total of 984 people – 664 with comorbidity – have died of Covid-19 in the city.
In the last 24 hours, 368 people were also tested positive for Covid-19, a marginal increase from 319 Friday, said health officials.
A total of 2.5 lakh cases have been recorded throughout the city since the Pandemic outbreak in March 2020.
Of these, 7,349 cases were recorded in the last 12 days while 65,289 cases were reported in January.
“The level of prospect must be consistent below 5% in the coming days.
If the level of prospitis is recorded below 2%, it will show that cases will decrease,” said Virender Yadav, Chief Medical Officer.
On Saturday, the level of participant was recorded at 6.4%, up from 5.6% login on Friday.
According to data obtained from the Ministry of Health, the number of active cases has reached 2,172 and at present, only 36 patients undergoing treatment in a separate hospital.
On Saturday, 422 recovery and 5,740 Covid-19 tests were recorded.
With the number of cases decreasing, the Ministry of Health puts the emphasis on vaccination drives, especially for beneficiaries in categories 15 to 17 years.
