Vadodara: A temple priest in the village of Koral Kajan Taluka Village has shaved close on Tuesday morning after the fire broke out at the temple.
Around 5 in the morning, the fire broke in the Sanctum Sanctorum from the Ashapura temple.
Imam Munna Maharaj, who sleeps in the temple, is stuck when the fire starts when the temple is locked from the outside.
The priest began to shout to help hearing the family members in a room adjacent to the temple woke up and called the villagers.
The villagers broke the key to save the priest and also tried to water the fire.
However, the fire had swallowed most of the temple after the fire department from Karjan City and the city of Vadodara was called.
The fire was taken controlled after a two-hour fire department.
Firemen said that the initial investigation point was in a short circuit as a cause of fire.
Karjan police are investigating this case.
The villagers say that the temple will now be returned to its original form.
