Vadodara: The local court on Thursday rejected the application of a guarantee of a scholar who was arrested under the law of ‘Love Jihad’ new Gujarat.
Islamuddin Sheikh was thirty-two-year-old had filed a guarantee in the session court stating that he had not committed violations and marriage was done when men and women were in a relationship.
The 25-year-old complainant has submitted FIR at the Gotri police station last month accusing her husband to cheat him into the wedding and then forced him to enter.
“The complainants were converted and then the marriage was stated with his will by Sheikh who was Maulvi Antil desai, the public prosecutor appears for complainants.
“Maulvi did not take any permission to change the complainant.
The court recorded a seriousness of violations and rejected Sheikh’s guarantee,” Desai told Toi.
On July 5, the court has refused the implementation of a 21-year-old assurance of her 21-year-old which was the main accusation in this case.
The woman on June 17 filed a complaint at the Gotri Police Station against her husband, who called himself Sam Martin, on social media.
It was the first pine in the state of the new ‘love jihad’ law.
He accused the complaint that he was friends with him in February 2019 and then expressed his desire to marry him.
The complainant also accused him of forcing him and then they married in February this year.
The woman accused her husband to change it forcibly and did not let it practice religion.
