Mangaluru: The doctor’s footage playing video games in the ward of the victim of the Wenlock District Hospital has become a viral, evokes sharp reaction from the public.
Viral videos show a patient lying in bed on one side, while the doctor plays a video game on the PC on the other.
This problem has been taken to the hospital authority notice.
A patient from the vagva was taken to hospital with a head injury on January 23.
Sharing Videos Patients and Doctors, Umesh Acharya wrote on Facebook, “A patient from Mulkaje in the vagva was taken to the Wenlock District Hospital at 11pm in January 23 after he suffered a head injury due to high blood pressure.
The doctor and staff at the hospital have shown Pride and they play games on a computer.
They do not respond even when relatives of patients ask them to attend.
“Acharya asked the district administration to take the necessary actions in connection with the incident.
Wenlock Superintendent Medical Regency Hospital Dr.
Sadarashiva Shanbag told toi that this problem was taken to the KMC hospital authority notice.
“The incident was reported in the victim area.
Some graduate students from the KMC Hospital have turned on TV or other gadgets,” he said.
Meanwhile, a PG student has issued a warning and suspended by college management.
