CM launched Kanpur’s first prototype, the Agra Metro project

Revision: Re Gorakhpur: Metro Metro Flagship Projects in Kanpur and Agra are expected to be inaugurated by Prime Minister Narendra Modi at the end of November.
This was announced by the Chairman of the Yogi Aditentalath Minister when launching the first Metro Prototype train for two cities almost from Gorakhnath’s temple at Gorakhpur on Saturday.
Development came after the success of running the metro in Lucknow, Ghaziabad, Noida and Greater Noida in the state.
Yogi said that the detailed project report (DPRs) for the other five major cities – Gorakhpur, Varanasi, Prasagraj, Merrut and Jhansi – were on their last leg.
“Metro is a requirement of hours and it will prove to be a milestone in the development of Agra and Kanpur.
This is a matter of time when five more cities will also have a safe, comfortable and affordable public transportation mode,” he said while congratulating Metro Corporation and M officials / S Alstom Transport Limited.
He said that with the help of metro train services, PM’s vision about India which was relatively independent was also being realized.
CM on the second day of his visit to Gorakhpur, holding Janta Darbar at Gorakhnath Temple and listened to people’s complaints and instructed officials for fast disposal.
According to Metro Rail Corporation, two Metro trains will have a ‘regenerative braking’ feature, with assistance up to 45% of energy through brakes applied on the train to be regenerated and reused in the system.
This train will also have a state-of-the-art propulsion system to reduce air pollution.
This train will have a carbon-based censor-based cooling system, which will run according to the number of passengers present on the train and will save energy.
The capacity of the Kanpur Metro train passenger will be 974 passengers and will have a design speed of up to 90 km / hr.
The first and last train coach will have a separate room for a wheelchair for Divyangjan.
The train will also have a fire extinguisher, smoke detector, etc.
This train has been designed based on sophisticated fire and accident standards.
Each train will have a CCTV camera, a video feed that will directly reach the train operator and central security room.
Each train will also have a USB cellphone charging point and LCD screen or panel for infotainment.
