Lucknow: Head of the Yogi Minister Adyityanath on Sunday posted a Searing attack on the previous state government, accusing them of the pulse of food grain courage to the Mafia ‘Khadyan’ (Ransum), which will then smuggle consignment abroad.
CM made a sharp attack during the launch of the campaign for free food burlap distribution up to 15 years until March next year.
By asserting that the distribution scheme of food gardens was being applied transparently, said Yogi, the transfer and weighing grain rampant in the previous regime.
He firmly sweeped food fraud in 2005 in the previous SP rules to send hard messages to political clothing led by Akhilesh Yadav, who had installed the aggressive front in the state poll.
“Yeh Silsila Lagataar Chalta Raha (this lasts for years),” Yogi said, emphasizing that starving death was reported during 2015-16 when SP was in power.
He said, after BJP assumed power in 2017 that the state government streamlined the distribution of food granules to the ration card holder.
He also slammed the opposition leaders because he deliberately misled the poor in Covid-19 vaccination.
“Opposition leaders know that if all poor people take vaccines, they will end in political exile,” he said.
Repeating that the government is ready to face a possible third corona wave, Yogi said, this campaign is also an enhanced medical facility, free vaccination and aggressive testing to fight a pandemic.
It comes as an additional distribution of food garden conducted by the center under PM Gareen Kalyan Anna Yojana, who also requires a distribution of 5kg foodgrain to the poor.
“Joint campaigns of the center and state government reflect the benefits arising from the multiple engine government,” Yogi said.
This campaign was seen as a new BJP effort to reach poor people until now was hit by an economic slowdown and reversing workers’ migration during the first wave.
PMGKAY, which was launched between April to November last year, has benefited 80 crore people every month.
The upper government also joined the center in driving food grains to poor people in April, May and June.
During the second wave, the center conducted a campaign from May to October.
The upper government also contributes to providing food grains in June, July and August.
The center then extends the scheme until March next year.
