Chennai: Chennai Metropolitan Development Authority (CCDA) has sealed five shops and workers who were spilled on Jalan Avadi Baru in Kilparuk for unauthorized construction.
Likewise, shops, association rooms, multipurpose halls, gyms and rooms paying rooms are locked and sealed on several floors of eight-story buildings on the main road Tambaram-Velachery in Tambaram for construction violations.
The official press release from the CMDA said that five stores on the ground floor and workers shed on the locked terrace and sealed in Kilpatuk after the notification of locking and sealing and notification of de-work was not appropriate.
Other press releases said the CMDA began actions against the parts of the buildings built in violating the use of approved in part of the ground floor, the approved office area and parking area to the store area, in addition to the housing unit into a multi-floor building in Tambaram building.
