Port Blair: Indian coast guards have saved 10 Myanmar fishermen floating in the Andaman Sea for 10 days on a raft made of empty containers after their ship bound by Malaysia reversed, a security force official said on Saturday.
The fishermen were saved by 14 miles of the South Nicobar Island of the car on Friday, and they were handed over to the local police, he said.
Their ships carrying fish upside down on the Andaman Sea while on our way to Malaysia, but all 10 crew members managed to survive by floating on the raft, the official said.
The coast guard receives information about fishermen and saves them on Friday, he added.
