Madikeri: A worker and his family who continued to be locked up in their homes by coffee owners had registered a case against the man at the Siddapur police station after escaping from imprisonment.
A worker official has also sent a notification to plantation owners.
Subramani works as a driver in masked estate owned by Annamalai Muthayaor for 25 years.
He lives with his family at home line line.
His daughter Pavitha also worked on the same plantation.
Both are dismissed from work without notice.
They claim they did not accept their full payment.
Subramani driver submitted a request at the Madikeri Court and this case had lasted for six years.

However, the owner of Muthayah was allegedly digging a 10-foot trench across the line house on January 7 to stop them going anywhere or get their provisions.
He allegedly also cut water supply and electric pathways.
The family succeeded for several days in trouble.
Then they left the house using the stairs.
Subramani then complained to the police Siddapur against the owner and three other staff members.
The police have ordered the owner of Muthaya and Ranjan C staff, Antony and Padmanabha for harassment.
The District Workers officer sent a notification to all the defendants.
Further investigation is active.
