Patna: Life returns to state education institutions on Monday with the back of offline classes after more than three months closing because of the second wave of Covid-19 pandemic.
Most of the universities and postgraduate departments from various universities hum with activities with enthusiastic participation of boys and girls in the field of academics.
Although the presence of students is not too encouraging on the first day, it is likely to increase in one or two days.
In addition, several local universities have decided to continue with online classes in theory letters and do only practical classes in offline mode.
Syllabi from most undergraduate and postgraduate students at Patna University has been completed through online classes and most of them are waiting for the announcement of their examination schedule.
However, a number of boys and girls were found to make anxious question about theorical tables and their practical classes based on 50% of student participation.
They wear masks even though social distance is not seen in all places.
Interestingly, college witnesses female footsteps that are far greater than boys.
Magadh Mahila College Principal Shashi Sharma said each class was divided into two parts and the class was held for them by a different teacher.
Even 50% of girls attended classes on the first day.
He clarified that only classes were held offline where some topics would still be borne.
In science subjects, batches and wise practical class units in various subjects have begun to maintain social distance, he said.
Sharma said the college had decided to hold a three-hour artificial test in different classes to familiarize girls with inspection techniques in face-to-face mode.
In fact, most of these girls only attend online classes until now after their acceptance, he said.
Principal Patna Ashok Kumar admitted that only a few students appeared on Monday.
Some classes in subjects such as Urdu and Maithili are held but their presence is very thin.
He stressed that guidelines issued by the Ministry of Education and instructions issued by PU were being strictly followed.
There is no student meeting at any point permitted and the entire campus has been cleaned and dissed as a whole, he added.
BR N College Principal Raj Kishore Prasad said students would prefer to attend online classes.
Even though the college has told me about practical classes in offline mode, not a single student appeared on Monday, he said.
In college J D Women, a large number of girls appear on the opening day.
Some classes are also held with a 50% presence.
Smaller classes are held in offline mode.
“No one is allowed to enter the campus without a mask and they are also encouraged to get themselves inoculated in the vaccination camp on campus,” said the Principal of Shyama Roy.
Students are seen attending classes in offline mode with great enthusiasm in trade universities, art and science.
The college seemed quite clean and no student crowd was seen in one place.
Students who have not yet been accounced for Covid have not been asked by teachers to resolve them in the college vaccination camp itself, said Psychology Teacher Dinesh Kumar Singh.
