Ghaziabad: Emergency Ward (DCH) Combination of Regency (DCH) is on the threshold for the lack of medical officers, even when doctors who serve the patient’s anger at the delay in providing care.
The hospital authority is once again written to the Ministry of Health in this matter, TOI has learned.
In a letter sent to Lucknow, the Head of the DCH Medical Inspector Dch Dr.
Sanjay Teotia claimed that they faced a problem in the smooth function of the emergency ward and the trauma center “because there was only one emo (emergency medical officer) at the hospital”.
“Because of six empty posts, emergency services face many problems running smoothly.
If emo is not deployed at an empty post, then there is every possible emergency service suspended at the hospital,” wrote CMS.
Despite recurring requests, he claimed, the government had not acted and “the situation remained the same”.
“At present, Emo’s work is being carried out by other specialists posted in the hospital, because the public cannot get a specialist in the OPD (patient department).
Because of this, doctors must face public anger a lot of time, affect the moral doctor,” said the letter .
In fact, DCH has faced a lack of acute doctors over the past few months.
A few months ago, the hospital administration also fired the same letter as the State Health Department who highlighted the shortcomings of a female specialist in the hospital, saying that it should be considered approaching OPD or emergency women.
There are 39 posts doctors at the hospital, but only 16 are deployed at this time.
The hospital also does not have general surgeons, cardiologists, pulmonologists, and doctors.
There is a separate building to run the Trauma Center, along with an emergency ward, but because of the lack of adequate staff, it also faces a lot of trouble, said the source.
“The CMS Dr.
Teotia has urged senior health department officials to demand at least three emo immediately so that the work did not stop,” said the source.
Hospitals have daily footsteps of more than 1,200 patients.
