JAMSHEDPUR: Senior JMM leader Babar Khan has filed a written complaint against Senior BJP leader Abhay Singh with the Sakchi Police Station in Jamshedpur for allegedly hurting sentiments from the minority community.
In his complaint, Khan alleged that Singh accused the minority community by exploring land to build a mosque in various places in the steel city and claim that the administration has closed the eye for this problem.
Sakchi-in-Charge Police Officer Rajesh Singh said, “Complaints have been submitted by Khan against Singh.
We will take the next step only after the overall probe of the whole problem.
If the complaint is found correctly, then the action will be taken against Singh.” In particular, Singh reported Making encroachment costs during heat exchanges with Singhbhum DC Suraj Kumar in a Puja Pandal durga recently.
The exchange was caught in viral videos on social media.
The source said the DC stopped the bhog distribution because it did not follow the protocol in the pandal in Kasidih where Singh was the head of the organizing committee.
Singh said the DC hurt the religious sentiment of worshipers in the pandal and claimed that all Covid protocols were followed.
The BJP leader also searched for clarification from DC, claiming that the administration disturbed Puja in Pandal without reason.
It was during the exchange that Singh told Kumar that many mosques in the city were built on land which symbolized while the state government and local government did not take any action.
He also claimed that the administration gave motorized treatment to the Hindu community by prohibiting the distribution of Bhog.
Taking a strong violation for Singh’s comments, Khan and his supporters went to the Sakchi police station and filed a written complaint.
Khan demanded that Singh be arrested immediately and a FIR was asked against him.
Singh, however, said he would hold fast to the statement he had made.
