Thiruvananthapuram: The petition received in the complaint cell of the minister’s chairman must be discarded and answered must be given to the applicant within 15 days, said Pinarayi Vijayan here on Tuesday.
Inaugurated a redressal cell ranking system and reviewing cell functions, he said that there must be an accurate and correct decision on the petition and the applicant must be told about the final result.
The applicant approached because they did not have other solutions, and for the same reason, they must be handled with affection.
The minister’s chairman said that an officer would be appointed in each office for a redressal complaints system and the name of the clerk will be clearly displayed in the office.
The complainant approaching the office must be able to contact him, and the head of the department must conduct a review of such a month once a month, he said.
Vijayan further added that the financial assistance of the Minister of Chief Assistance Fund is not a permanent solution for those who are harmed, and must be disbursed in sequence.
If all required documents are closed, financial assistance must be disbursed within 100 hours, he said.
He added that all petitions received at the village office had to be transferred to the Taluk office within three days.
The main secretary (income) has been given the responsibility to remove the petition that is delayed in the cell on the war footing, he said.
The ranking system is being institutionalized to find out whether the public is satisfied with the services offered by cells and to compile the opinions from the public, said CM.
