Mysuru: Congress Legislator HP Manjunath, Dr.
Yathindra Siddaramaiiah, and C Anil Kumar on Saturday took a strong objection to the busy style of the District Minister of St.
Somashekhar.
Legislators demand that the state government and district ministers release white papers on development work initiated in all districts and projects, funds, special grants approved for the development of mysuru as a whole in four years after the BJP government in the country.
Manjunath said Siddaramaiiah had provided project sanctions, released funds, and took the work of Development of Rs 22,355 Crores in all districts during his term as CM.
He also took the work of the Development of Rs 3,300 Crore in MySore City including RS 18 Crore Jal Bhavan which was only inaugurated, said.
Manjunath “The work was carried out during the previous Congress government in the city such as the new DC office, Mini Vidhana Soudha, several hospitals, Maharani colleges and their testimonies working with this,” he said.
In the past four years added that BJP’s minister was only the installed projects initiated during the Congress Government, he accused.
Black flag Congress legislator protest attacked the St Somashekhar district minister and district administration for violating the protocol by not inviting the selected legislators from rural areas including Nanji BJP MLA Harshavardhan for the inauguration of Jal Bhavan.
Somashekar along with the Minister of Development of Urban Byrathi Basavaraju inaugurated the building on Saturday.
Jal Bhavanwas was built at a cost of Rs 18.4 Crore and his work began during the Congress regime, Manjunath said.
“When the district minister did not invite us for this inauguration and visited this district to be named and did not start construction work, Congress legislators planned to increase the black flag to protest his visit from Monday,” he added.
