Bhubaneswar: Congress on Sunday accused the government of the gross irregularities in the procurement of rice.
Overcoming the news conference here, the president of the Gathering of the State Congress Amiya Kumar Patnaik said the government had betrayed farmers because they faced problems in selling their agricultural products.
He also accused that poor farmers were victims because of the disputes between the center and the upper state of non-lifting rice parboiled by Indian food companies.
Said that the state of farmers would be the main problem for Congress in rural polls, Patnik said farmers would give a reward in accordance with BJD.
