Hyderabad: Congress tends to invite popular young leaders Kanhaiya Kumar to his public meeting ahead of October 30 bypoll to the constituency of the Huzurabad Assembly.
Party leadership has decided to arrange large public meetings every day between October 23 and October 26.
The Congress wrote to the Indian General Election Commission (ECI) to enable it to hold public meetings in the constituency of polls.
If permission is not given, public meetings will be held in areas that are bordered by the constituency of Huzurabad.
This party has lowered the leader of Balmoori Venkat students who are state presidents of the National Union National Students (NSUI).
Some NSUI members have urged party leadership to invite Jignesh Mevani, Kanhaiya Kumar and Hardik Patel to hit the crowd at Huzurabad.
Kanhaiya Kumar recently joined the Congress and Mevani extended his support to the party.
Hardik is currently working as President of the Gujarat Congress.
“If the EC does not allow public meetings, at least Kanhaiya road shows, Mevani and Hardik must be held.
Only their presence will provide a big boost for the prospect of Venkat’s election,” said a NSUI leader.
The leadership of the Congress, who was in the top dilemma invited three leaders because the party had not won seats in the past 30 years, finally gave a nodding on the principle of consultation with AICC leadership that invited Kanhaiya.
Confirming to Toi that the Think Tank Party has discussed the proposal, the President of the TPCC Workers Mahesh Kumar Good said, “We can invite Kanhaiya Kumar to the General Meeting.
