Coimbatore: Congress celebrates the day of the 137th Foundation at the Office of the Party Committee of the Party of the Party (Kamaraj Bhavan) here on Tuesday.
The leader of the legislative party Congress K Selvaperenthagai apparent the party flag as part of the Foundation Day celebration.
Speaking to party cadres, Selvaper Sagar said the BJP government in the center must be removed from the power and the government of the Congress under the leadership of Rahul Gandhi must be powerful.
The President of TNCC TNCC Mayura S Jayakumar was present at the event.
Meanwhile, at another event, Congress MP Kartti P Chidambaram raised the party flag in Kinathukadavu in the district and distributed sweets to party cadres.
