Noida: With the number of dengue cases that crosses 200-markus, the Ministry of Health has started a container survey in several places in all districts.
On Sunday, 17 new cases were recorded in Noida, taking this year’s calculation to 210, which was the highest in the last 10 years.
As part of a survey, officials will examine mosquito breeding land and open containers where water can be collected.

He said mosquitoes that spread dengue fever usually fly within one kilometer where they breed.
“People must maintain personal hygiene and should not allow water to be collected in open containers.
If people do not allow mosquitoes to multiply, the spread of diseases transmitted vectors can be controlled,” Sharma said.
He added that the government’s premise survey would begin soon and the official would check whether the building and the environment were clean and if the open container lay outdoors.
