Nia official, who visited the City Police Coming on Friday, has installed posters at Gandhipuram Bus Stand, Ukkadam, Saranallur Bus Stand and train station in the city, Podanur and Coimbatore North with the help of local police.
Posters are also shown in all 15 police stations in the city.
“If anyone provides information about one of them, the National Investigation Agency will reward Rs 5 Lakh to the person.
Details about the informants will be kept confidentiality,” a city police officer, who did not want to be named after, said.
The officer said Ramalingam had opposed Dawah’s work carried out by Indian front members who were popular in the Thanjavur District.
After being killed in Thirubhuvanam, Police Thiruvidaimarihur had registered a case, which was then taken over by the National Investigation Agency.
While the investigation body has named 18 people as defendants, only 13 of them have been captured so far.
Nia’s efforts to track the existence of five remaining violators have not produced any results until now.
The special court for the Nia case has stated the fifth, which is in the run, as a violation proclaimed in this case.
