Rajkot: The old parents of a woman who worked as police chief in Junagadh was allegedly killed in Vanthli Taluka Village from the district on Tuesday morning.
The pair of King Jiladiya (72) and his wife Jalu (68) was found dead in a agriculture in Sendarda Village.
Their daughter Kunwarben worked as police chief at the Mahila City Police Station Junagadh.
Milk, who went to their farm, saw the couple die and immediately told their son who lived in the same village.
The police said Jiladiya and his wife were sleeping on the farm.
While the woman was watered to death with a pillow, her husband was strangled using a pillow cloth.
The police said his intention was a robbery and almost 21 gold tolas and some stolen money from the house found completely damaged.
The couple has four children but they live alone.
One son lives separately in the same village while others settled in the letter.
While one daughter is a police officer, another married.
Police Inspector, Junagadh, Pradipshad Jadeja said, “The couple was in good sleep when killed.
We estimate the value of gold and cash stolen.”
