Gurgaon: Two private hospital doctors in Sector 12 have been ordered because of alleged medical negligence after a woman claimed that they had left the cotton gauge in her stomach during the C-Section procedure in 2020.
The woman was unhealthy since it was a cotton procedure and gauge found in His stomach during follow-up and examination tests.
Finally removed after seven months but the family claimed that the operation was carried out without their consent.
In October last year, the family approached the local court after failing to get registered FIR despite filing complaints.
Furthermore, a recent case was registered with the 12 police station sector on the command of the court, the family said the couple then approached a government pharmacy at Sikanderpur Ghosi for consultation after Rai lost his job during locking.
According to Rai, they met with an Anganwadi worker at a pharmacy allegedly threatening a partner to give birth.
On November 16, the wives of the complainants were treated at a private hospital in Sector 12 where doctors suggested Swastika to undergo a direct caesarean section and asked the partner to deposit RS 15,000 for the procedure.
Swastika gave birth to a girl and mother-daughter was finally dismissed on November 18 after the couple kept another RS 15,000.
Swastika, meanwhile, it is recommended to visit the hospital to dress every three days.
After dressing all week, Swastika began to complain about his pain and redness in his stomach.
At Shiva Hospital, a doctor allegedly told the pair that the pain was the result of surgery and prescribed several drugs.
When the pain and swelling survived for the next one and a half months, the doctor prescribed some painkillers, which allegedly caused further decreases in their conditions.
On May 31, Rai finally took a swastika to the Jageram Hospital in Sikanderpur where the doctor consultation advised him to undergo a blood test and CECT scan.
On June 1, after the CECT scanning report showed a cotton gauge or several metal objects in Swastika’s stomach, Rai took his wife to Shiva Hospital.
“A doctor at Shiva Hospital asked us to immediately admit Swastika for a diagnosis,” Rai said, adding that the doctor said Swastika might have to undergo another operation.
“On June 2, the hospital sent an ambulance and Swastika to be hospitalized immediately.
They made us sign empty letters who said that it was only a diagnosis,” said Rai.
However, the complainant claimed that he was told that Swastika underwent surgery three hours later by hospital management.
Complaints submitted with the 14 police station sector against Shiva Hospital on the same day.
On June 4, Rai also filed a complaint to the Police Commissioner and the Medical Head (CMO).
However, on June 8, Rai was allegedly forced by the police to sign the RS 85,000 RS RUU prepared by a private hospital.
