Kanpur: Cash worth Rs 44 Lakh recovered from three people traveling on the Bus State Road Transport Corporation (SRTC) on Jalan Raya Prayagraj-Kanpur in the Maharajpur area in the district on Tuesday.
Three people left Banda to Kanpur.
This, RS 35 Lakh has been found from one and Rs 5.5 lakh and RS 3.5 Lakh from two other people.
They have not been able to provide correct information about cash and have not been able to show the same document.
The police interrogated the three people by taking them to the police station and had told the officials of the Income Tax Department in front of the Maharajpur Police Station on Jalan Kanpur-Prayagraj on Tuesday afternoon.

The police station responsible said that when the team asked for three people about the source of money, they could not say anything, besides that they also could not provide all documents related to cash.
