Ranchi: To provide better driving quality and make state roads better and safer; The Jharkhand road construction department will adopt cold milling technology to repair and build new roads.
As a demonstration, a road has been built based on technology and the department will decide to adopt it for further road construction.
Moving to Toi, Engineer (NH Part) from the Department, Wahid Qamar Faridi, said, “We have seen demonstrations on the road back through cold milling near Shaheed Maidan Dhurwa on February 6.
This technology is new in our country but is very appropriate and also economical.
” About the benefits of this new technology, Faridi said it would help in better harmony and in increasing road undulation.
“New projects to be carried out with the help of this technology will not only provide better driving quality with profile corrections but will also produce stronger and better roads,” he said.
Examples of how the technology works, engineers say, “When fresh roads are being placed, leveling quality is a very important part.
This technology will help us in ensuring that the road has the right level through sensors and sidewalks built without an undulation.” Faridi also said The introduction of this technology as a gift and said national highway projects and toll road projects throughout the country have already used.
This technology is to put a better path.
