MYSURU: Close into 21,000 individuals in Mysuru district, that have received the initial dose of a Covid-19 vaccine, seem reluctant to take the next dose, police said.
The district has the maximum amount of active instances and deaths following Bengaluru Urban.
Officials state 12,940 individuals who received a dose of Covishield, also 7,893 who shot a jab of Covaxin are overdue for their next dose and haven’t turned up to the injection despite repeated reminders and telephone calls.
The district administered the initial dose to 74 percent of individuals above 45 decades, but just 20 percent are completely vaccinated.
Health officials states a few are out of the town, but some have switched their mobiles and aren’t accessible.
