Pune: Progressive count of positive covid patients in the Pune Metropolitan area (PMR) rose to 14,33,868 with 2,746 fresh infections, while the total number of patients beaten reached 13,86,229 with 7,535 recovery on Sunday.
Tolls rose to 19,568 with 14 deaths, stating the Daily Covid-19 report issued by the District Administration.
The PMC area has 1,434 new cases, followed by 722 cases within the PCMC limit.
Rural areas have 449 new patients and concenting and Canton each has 80 and 61 cases.
A total of 3,896 patients were dismissed in the PMC area, followed by 2,138 patients recovered in the PCMC limit and 1,154 patients recovered in rural areas.
The PMC limit records nine deaths, while the PCMC area has four DEFAHT.
One death is recorded in rural areas.
The total active case at PMR is 28.078.
The state on Sunday reported 9,666 fresh covid cases, took the cumulative calculation of the disease to 78,03,700.
This is only the second example of 2022 that the state reported below 10,000 cases.
The active case of the state fell to 1.18 lakh with more than 25,000 out of institutional and house isolation.
Covid’s death in Maharashtra remained stable at 66, down from 68 on Saturday.
The current cumulative toll road has touched 1,43,074, including 16,661 in Mumbai.
