Panaji: Three travelers from England, which landed at Goa International Airport, Dabolim, on Friday, was tested positively Covid-19 and was isolated at the Primary Health Center Cansaulim.
Their sample will be sent for genome sequencing because they suspected the carrier of the Omicron variant.

Ira Almeida said that two positive testing passengers were couples traveling with their two children.
Negative children, even though one below five is not tested according to the protocol.
“The seven-year-old boy was tested.
Husband and wife and two of their children have been placed in the Primary Health Center of Cansaulim,” he said.
Health Minister Vishwajit Rane said that 237 tourists arriving from England were tested on arrival, and three were tested positively.
“84 high-risk contacts from UK flights today (Friday) were identified & suggested 2 days of quarantine house, with re-testing on the 8th day,” he tweeted.
Almeida said that tourists from high-risk countries must undergo 14 days of house quarantine if they tested negatively on arrival.
The first suspect, a russian citizen who had tested positive with three others, was dismissed from the hospital and was transferred to the Primary Health Center, Cansaulim, on Friday.
On Friday, seven travelers were in isolation, and all asymptomatic.
Meanwhile, the sample report sent for genome sequencing is still awaited.
