PURINA: Purnia Civil Surgeon Dr S K VERMA on Saturday said the district has reached second place in the state in providing the second dose of covishield and covaxin vaccines to beneficiaries.
“We have fully vaccinated 6.48,188 people or 42% of the eligible populations in the district so far.
Likewise, 15.33,267 people have received their first dose of vaccine in this district,” added Dr.
Verma.
Meanwhile, Purnia DM Rahul Kumar inaugurated the vaccination center “at 9am to 21:00” in Kasba for people who work, office visitors and those who go home late at night.
