Thane: Kalyan and Dombivli twin cities in Maharashtra Regency reported 96 fresh cases of Coronavirus on Wednesday.
This is for the first time in a few weeks that cities have witnessed nearly 100 cases of Covid-19 in a day.
According to the latest data by Kalyan Dombivli Municipal Corporation (KDMC), most cases appeared in Kalyan West (31), followed by 29 in Dombivli East, 16 in West Dombivli and eight in Kalyan East.
Ten people were tested positively in the Manda-Titwala region, while two contracted viruses in the Mohane area.
Also, one more death is reported within the KDMC limit.
On the other hand, 52 people recovered from infection on Wednesday, taking the total recovery to 1,39,239.
At present, 731 patients underwent treatment for Covid-19 in Kalyan and Combined Dombivi.
