Thane: Twin cities of Kalyan and Dombivli in the Thane Maharashtra district reported a massive leap in the new Covid-19 case when 62 people were tested positive on Tuesday.
Only one day ago, cities only saw 29 cases.
According to the latest data by Kalyan Dombivli Municipal Corporation (KDMC), most cases emerged in Kalyan West (22), followed by 11 in West Dombivli, and 10 each in East Dombivli and East Kalyan.
Four people were tested positively in the Manda-Titwala region, and five cases were reported in the Mohane area.
Also, another death was reported within the KDMC limit.
On the other hand, 61 people recovered from infection on Tuesday, took the total recovery to 1,40,567.
At present, 648 patients underwent treatment for Covid-19 in Kalyan and combined dombivi.
