Bhubaneswar: The State Health Authority has decided to bring the public to get information about foreign refugees considering the omicron new variant of Covid-19 detected in India.
The authorities said the return was allegedly raised the tracking team at the district level and provided the wrong information when talking to team members.

This center has provided a list of foreign returns to the state through the air subetha portal.
So far, the state has published a list of 389 who returned foreign shared by the center until Wednesday.

The Ministry of Health has sent a list that is updated to each district administration to track refugees that return so that their swab samples can be taken and sent for genome sequencing to ensure viral variants.
“We have decided to take public assistance.
We begged people to share with us if they knew anyone (foreign returns) who lived as a guest or came from places far away to their homes and stayed in their homes and lived in Their house and staying at the village residence.
Information will help us move the fast response team (RRT) to take their samples for the test, “said Director (Public Health) Niranjan Mishra.
He refused to divulge updated data about the number of people who had returned to Odisha from November 29 to Sunday.
Experts have expressed fear that foreign returns can escape the supervision because unless they are traced and tested, their samples for genome sequencing cannot be sent to the laboratory.
The central guideline stipulates that anyone who comes from a foreign country will undergo a quarantine of a mandatory seven-day house.
On the eighth day, they had to undergo a covid test.
So far, the state government has not been able to test one foreign return.
The state on Sunday reported 189 new infections that took cumulative casel to 10.50,249.
It also enrolled 257 recovery and two fatalities.
