Pune: The Pune Metropolitan Region (PMR) on Saturday recorded 265 new Covid-19 cases, including 149 of the PMC area, taking progressive cooperatives above 11.62 lakh.
In addition, 239 people recovered in this region in the last 24 hours, which encouraged the calculation above 11.41 lakh.
Among new cases, rural areas and Cantonese added 53, while the Pimpri Chinchwad area recorded 63.
The recovery, the PMC area recorded 119, followed by the rural part (69) and the PCMC (51) limit.
The area’s front level reached 1.48% on Saturday.
Daily testing in this region increased to 17,797 on Saturday.
About 7,500 samples were examined in the PMC limit, 7,256 tests were carried out within the PCMC limit and 3,035 samples were examined in rural areas and Cantonese.
Overall, more than 32.2 Lakh tests have been carried out within the PMC limit, while 23.5 Lakh tests have been carried out within the PCMC limit and 28.3 tests have been carried out in the rural part.
The area has so far been done more than 90.21 lakh tests.
Two more patients gave up on infections in the region on Saturday.
Although there were no deaths reported within the PMC limit, one patient each died in Chinchwad’s Pimpri and the rural part.
This region has reported 19,223 deaths from Covid-19 so far.
Active kasel in this region has increased to 1,978 on Saturday night.
A total of 1,418 patients in the region were in house isolation, while 560 were treated in various hospitals, a report by Health Officer Bhagwan Pawar stated.
