Hyderabad: Even when the three cases of Omicron were declared in the country on Wednesday, three cases were detected by Covid-19 positive at Shamshabad Airport in Hyderabad on Wednesday.
A total of 1,248 passengers landed at the airport.
At present, three sample results are waiting for genome sequencing.
So far, 6,644 passengers have arrived at Shamshabad airports from high-risk countries.
Telangana, meanwhile, saw 186 new cases of Covid-19 cases and one death on Wednesday.
The number of active cases in the country reaches 3,812.
The total number of cases was 6.78,874 while the dead were 4,010.
