Rajkot: The number of Omicron variants from the Covid-19 case in Gujarat rose to three after two 72-year-old relatives of the infected 72-year-old man from Jamnagar was tested positive on Friday.
According to officials, the man’s wife and her brother was found to be infected with a new variant.
“Their clinical conditions were fine and they were isolated after the man was tested positive last week,” said Jamnagar Collector Saurabh Pardhi.
The 72-year-old child has returned from Zimbabwe and was tested positive Omicron.
