Lucknow: After reaching more than one crore vaccination in the past two weeks, Uttar Pradesh became the first country in the country with more than six crore people who were fully vaccinated against the Coronavirus.
Data from the Cowin portal shows that 6.04 crore people in this country have taken both vaccine doses.
In accordance with official data, a total of 15.04 crore people above are eligible for vaccination.
This means that more than 40% of individuals who meet the requirements are now fully vaccinated.
In the national arena, rising now is home to nearly 13% of a fully vaccinated population.
Overall, around 18 crore doses have been given in the highest state in this country.
In Maharashtra, the nearest competitor, 12.51 crore doses have been given.
West Bengal with 9.81 Doses of Crore, Madhya Pradesh (9.50 Crore) and Bihar (9.08 Crore) Follow the next in the list.
An official statement said that aggressive vaccination has become an integral part of the government comprehensive strategy to curb coronavirus.
Among all the districts, Lucknow’s tops in terms of total doses are managed and fully vaccinated.
Prayagraj, Azamgarh, Bareilly and Jaunpur followed Lucknow in that order in the list of the top five districts in terms of the total dosage managed.
In other notes, the total number of Covid-19 tests carried out in the country crossed a nine-crore mark.
A total of 20 cases and nine recovery were reported in the last 24 hours, and the count of active cases in the country now stands at 151.
