Prasagraj: Women continue to exceed the number of men in receiving the Covid-19 vaccine in the Prayagraj district.
Of the 3,33,530 doses given between December 1-12, as many as 1,71,842 women and 1,61,540 men and 148 transgender were given a shot.
The numbers from the Ministry of Health revealed that from 48.81,329 doses given so far in the district, 25,32,007 men, 23,47,212 women and 2,110 transgender are covered under drive vaccination.
The statistics disclosed by the Ministry of Health on Sunday claimed that women recipients have maintained their superiority in vaccination in the second week of this month after early hiccups and more women’s recipients of all age groups arrived at vaccination and urban centers to vaccinate against Covid-19 .
Officials said that after registering leads in September, October and November, the recipients of women trailed behind their male colleagues in the first week of this month, but they are now losing the number of men in terms of vaccination received.
Note claims that from 9,52,528 jab given to the recipient who qualified in November, as many as 5,00,968 women received Jab, while the power of the recipient of the man who took the vaccine of 4.51.214.
Similarly, of a total of 8,41,889 doses given in October, 4,40,094 doses were given to women, while 4,01,428 doses were received by men.
In addition, in September, of a total of 9,39,300 doses given to the recipient who qualified, as many as 4,78,740 women and 4,60,002 men were vaccinated.

told TOI that women recipients took part active in vaccination campaigns and as a result, more women beneficiaries were inoculated for the fourth consecutive month.
ACMO, however, claimed that we had also focused on the provision of second JAD to the recipient who qualifies from all age groups at the time scheduled and for that, the health team worked on the micro plan to cover the recipient under a fully vaccinated category.
The District Health Authority has set a target to provide a dose to as many as 45.16,437 receivers of all age groups.
