Lucknow: The total active case of Covid-19 in the state fell below 140 on Saturday even as 11 new cases of pandemic infections were reported in the last 24 hours.
Health officials said that 42 districts have become free of Koronavirus infection with zero active cases.
They also said that 11 districts were abandoned with only one active case.
Seeing the Covid-19 bulletin shows that more than 62% of active cases are concentrated in only six districts including Lucknow, Prayagraj and Gautam Buddhivities Nagar.
New cases reported from only seven districts.
Updating the status of vaccination, officials say that 11.49 crore doses have been managed above.
Officials claimed that Uttar Pradesh was far before Maharashtra’s closest competitor, followed by Madhya Pradesh, Gujarat, and West Bengal.
While 9.07 crore people in the state have taken at least one dose, 2.41 crore fully immunized.
Health officials say people still have to remember to follow the prevention protocol and get themselves tested if symptoms occur.
