Hyderabad: Telangana recorded 2,387 new Covid-19 cases and 4,559 recovery on Friday.
Because of the high number of recovery, the number of active cases throughout the country fell to 30,931 and the total number of cases jumped to 7.74 lakh.
The death toll rose to 4,097 after the State recorded one Covid-19 death.
Of the 2,387 cases, 688 was recorded in the larger Hyderabad Municipal Corporation (GHMC) limit.
About 4,559 people were affected by Covid-19 recovered on Friday.
In 98 cases of Covid-19, Khammam was among the district which recorded a high number of cases followed by 95 in Hanamkonda, 88 in Nalgonda, 84 in Mahbubnagar, 71 in Sangeddy among many others.
