Rajkot: The number of new Covid cases which drastically decreased in the Saurashtra area on Friday even when 10 people died during treatment.
According to official figures, one patient each died in the city of Rajkot, Morbi and the city of Jamnagar.
In the city of Rajkot, 237 new Covid cases were reported on Friday while in rural areas, 135 people were tested positively.
The debit ratio per day also increases.
There are 3,254 active cases in the city of Rajkot where 956 people are dismissed.
In the Jamnagar district, 86 people and in Bhavnagar 97 districts were tested positively.
Gujarat in 24 hours ended 5pm on Friday adding 6,097 new positive cases, with a total of 11.91 lakh.
The state death toll rises to 10,614 with 35 deaths – eight in the city of Ahmedabad, four in the city of Vadodara, three of the city of Bhavnagar, two of them from Mehsana, Letters, Rajkot, Bharuch, Bhavnagar, and one in Jamnagar cities, letters, Rajkot, Vadodara, Morbi, Gandhinagar, Navsari, Valsad, Ahmedabad, and Aravalli District.
