Pune: The number of people who tested the positive Covid-19 fell to more than eight the lowest level (255) in the Metropolitan Pune (PMR) region on Monday, with the limit of the punpri city of Chinchwad recorded a case today in two digits.
PMR has recorded 253 cases on February 1.
While the PMC limit recorded 70 cases on Monday, the PCMC limit reported 33 cases.
Rural areas have 126 fresh cases.
Other areas such as councils, Cantonese have 24 and 2 cases, respectively.
A total of 515 patients recovered in the last 24 hours, took the total release above 11.23 lakh at PMR.
259 patients recovered in rural areas on Monday, while 122 was cured in the PMC area and 84 within the PCMC limit.
Recovery in the board stands in 39 and those who are in the Cantonments at 11.
The progressive number of cases has reached 11.47 lakh, stating the Covid-19 daily report issued by the district administration.
The total active case remained below 5,000 in PMR on Monday, with 2,434 patients in hospitals and 1,852 in house isolation.
