Covid hospital Retains’closing Service’

Vadodara: Though it had been vacated a week, even the Samras Covid Hospital was officially closed down Tuesday evening.
Officials held a little closing ceremony in the Samras Hostel which was converted into an hospital.
The hospital had a capacity of 500 patients with a 200 beds ICU that comprised 75 ventilator beds.
The hospital which was an expansion of their SSG Hospital treated 2,000 patients In the final ceremony, those who had donated to the functioning of the hospital had been felicitated.
They had been passed over mementos.
Talking on the event in-charge hospital superintendent Dr R Y Aiyer expressed hope that the centre would not be put to work .
