Jaipur: Covid’s front level in the city has jumped from 0.39% to 4.4% in a week after 905 samples from 20,358 were tested positively.
Higher levels of prospitis, the more platforms where the virus will spread.
In the last 24 hours, Jaipur contributed 63% of Covid cases in the state.
On Sunday, the city reported 224 infections, taking active cases to 1,012.
The last time the city violated the 1,000 mark on June 15 when recorded 1,096 active infections.
47 city areas have reported infection when the address of two patients was not found.
Overall, the country reported 355 new cases took the total calculation to 9.56,883.
Counts of victims stood at 8,964.
Jaipur was attended by Jodhpur (34), Ajmer (24), Pratapgarh (12), Alwar (11) and the city (11).
The remaining 39 cases were reported from 13 other districts.
Jaipur, Jodhpur, Ajmer, Pratapgarh, Alwar and the city reported 89% of cases.
A health department official said, “If there are people who have symptoms, he must isolate himself and consult a doctor and get the test done.
Also, vaccination for children (15-18 years) starts tomorrow.”
