The testicivity test (TPR) gradually decreased in Dakshina Kannada, one of several districts where the Covid-19 case still caused worries.
The rate fell from more than 5 percent in August to 1.7 percent in terms of September 5 to September 11.
Sullia, pillows and Pattture Taluk have 1 percent or less TPR.
Only Mangaluru Taluk reported TPR more than 2 percent.
This district tested 76,464 Covid in the past week, detecting 1,318 positive cases.
New infection, 760 recorded at Mangaluru Taluk, 173 in Belthangady, 146 in Bantwal, 124 in Putture and 65 in Sultia.
Active Load Kasel Dakshina Kannada, which is above 13,000 in mid-May, is under 2,000 on Sundays.
The district reported an average of almost 350 cases per day in the first week of August, numbers that fell to 188 in the past week.
Dr.
Ashok H, District Nodal officer for Covid-19, told TII that these cases declined mainly because of restrictions were introduced in educational institutions and borders.
“We have provided strict instructions for all institutions that will be the responsibility of management to ensure guidelines are followed.
We can control the spread of the virus by around 70 percent through restrictions for students from Kerala, where the surge in the case continues,” he said.
Dr.
Kishore Kumar M District Health Officer said that the number of outstation students who visited the campus had decreased and as a result, the cases of Covid-19 daily also dropped.
“Mangaluru Taluk also shows a declining trend in terms of new cases.
Border surveillance between countries has also helped Dakshina Kannada examine the spread of the virus.
