Rajkot: Five children infected with Covid-19 in Rajkot last week and they all have one thing in common – all have their family history or even their family members test positive Coronavirus before.

Even for Omicron, they said it might be the same despite the omicron infection case among children today nil.
Children under 18 years in India have not been inoculated with Covid vaccines so far.
According to the doctor, children infected with the first and second waves also have mild symptoms.
Senior pediatrician Dr.
Jay Dhirwani told TII, “Like adults, children who have co-morbid conditions such as obesity or other health problems, need to be more careful.

Shah further said that even in the case of Omicron variants, deaths among children will not rarely occur except in high-risk cases and suggest covering schools for fear.
Dr Divyag Bhimani, a pediatrician based in Rajkot said, “Light Delta variant for children, and we did not find many critical cases among pediatric patients in the second wave.
However, we do not have enough information about the new omicron variant.
