Vadodara: Need a 45-year-old woman to beat Covid-19 and return home to her family at Dahod after a long stretch of hospitalization.
He underwent treatment in Dahod and Vadodara and finally run out after his condition became stable with minimal oxygen requirements.
Geeta Dharmik, who had lost his father in April went to Bhopal for his last rite on April 23.
The trip was the beginning of his long journey with a disease after Dharmik began to feel unhealthy on April 25.
Her husband of Trilok Dharmik, a train employee, said that Geeteta lived in the quarantine house and gave a sample for RT-PCR tests.
However, the oxygen levels went down on May 1 and he also began to experience fever and had to be rushed to the Dahod train hospital.
“Later, the test also confirms Covid infection,” Trilok said.
Geeta was fine for about three days, but his condition deteriorated on May 5 and he was accepted at a private hospital in Vadodara on May 7, where he was kept until May 23.
“We decided to put him back to Dahod.
Only oxygen therapy and all other treatments have been made,” said Trilok.
Geeta was brought back to the train hospital at Dahod.
Here, he is stored in a ventilator for two months and then for another month on the bipap machine.
Even after this, he remained on high oxygen needs.
Trilok said that about a month the requirements of Geeeta oxygen fell significantly and he only needed 1 to 1.5kg of oxygen.
“He regained his health with what he had done before the infection.
The doctor decided to release it on Friday,” he said.
Geeta still needs oxygen support, but can keep it away for 10 to 15 minutes.
“We can manage with the current oxygen concentrator.
A gas cylinder has been saved as a backup at our residence,” said Trilok, adding that his lungs had not fully recovered and with the time he might not need oxygen support at all.
