Vadodara: A large surge witnessed in the Covid-19 case in the city and Vadodara Regency with 27 positive tests.
Positive cases cover 16 of the western part of the city.
The city and district have seen 17 cases on Monday and Tuesday.
The reason for a sudden surge is believed to be a series of positive positive testing cases.
The number of cases on Wednesday is close to the number of cases reported on June 18 this year.
On June 18, 25 cases were reported in the city and district.
The number of Covid cases in May and June has declined at a very fast speed towards the end of the second wave.
27 new cases on Friday were detected from 5,711 tests carried out in the city and district.
These cases from Jetalpur, Gotri, Atladara, Bhayli, Shiyabaug, Diwalipura, Savad, Gorwa, Subhanpura, Tandalja, Waghodiya, Danteshwar and Akota.
The western zone of the city registered 16 cases followed by seven in the southern zone and each in the East and North Zone.
These cases also cover two in the district outside the city limits.
The number of active cases in the city and district rose to 130.
These included six of the oxygen support and one in serious conditions on the ventilator or bipap engine.
