Patna: People who arrive at Bihar from other countries during the upcoming Festival and Chhat will come through a mandatory Covid-19 test on their arrival.
Chief Minister Nith Kumar on Saturday asked the Ministry of Health officials to ensure the Covid-19 test of all the people to arrive in the state of another place during the upcoming festival.

When reviewing the vaccination drive, he asked officials to ensure the initial vaccination of the remaining people in the state.
He also asked officials to ensure the vaccination of all those people, which could not be vaccinated due to their aadhaar number / card disobedience, using other documents for their identification.
He also ordered to make aadhaar card from people like that.
Nitish is increasingly booked to increase the number of Covid-19 testing in the state.
Previously, Pratyaya Amrit’s additional school (health) made a detailed presentation before CM on the current work status was carried out by the Ministry of Health to examine various diseases along with Covid-19.
Amrit told CM that ongoing vaccination drives would be more intensified throughout the state before Chhath Mahaparv and the number of Covid-19 testing would also increase.
He said the Ministry of Health would run a door-to-door campaign on October 18, 19 and 20 to motivate people to take the second dose of their Covid-19 vaccine.
He said that recently conducted a vaccination survey in the East Chambraran district.
“The WHO, in a survey, has notified that 96 percent of people in the East Chamaran Regency have been vaccinated,” Amrit told CM.
