Hyderabad: The Telangana Government on Saturday prohibits demonstrations and public meetings up to January 2 and imposes certain conditions as part of the steps to check Covid-19 in the light of the emergence of omicron.
Secretary of the Head of State Somesh Kumar issued the government’s order (go) with the effect after the advice of the Ministry of Health’s Union and the direction issued by the recent High Court.
The order said demonstrations and public meetings must be banned throughout the country until January 2, 2022.
