Thiruvananthapuram: CPM and CPI leadership has refused to return MLA KT Jalael, who raised wild accusations against Lok Ayukta Justice Cyriac Joseph.
Secretary of both parties has called Jalael’s accusations as his personal opinion.
“JALEEL is the only individual.
He is not an organization.
The CPI does not need to discuss what he says.
Obviously, it does not deserve to react from me,” said Secretary of the CPI Kanam Kanam Rajendran told reporters here on Monday.
When posing with the question of the propriety of Jalael’s claim that Lok Ayukta’s head was someone who was susceptible to bribery, said Lok Ayukta had the right and strength to take action against the same.
Meanwhile, CPM State Secretary Kodiyeri Balakrishnan said the Amendment of Lok Lok Ayukta did not have a relationship with the allegations raised by Jalael.
CPM has decided not to refuse or support the wild allegations of Jaleel against Joseph, said the source.
CPM leadership reiterated that changes in the law were taken into account to eliminate non-constitutional provisions in the current actions of the Pdijeev State Minister and Balakrishnan KodiYeri for their statement that Lok Ayukta’s current direction was not constitutional as, deciding to float tweaks of important power Lok Ayukta.
A few days later the Congress delegation met Governor Arif Mohammed Khan and told him that moving forward with a very regressive law would make Lok Ayukta toothless and asked him not to do it.
When this was a problem, Rajeev told the media that the High Court Kerala had decided that certain guidelines in the Ayankta Lok Bill had passed in 1999 by the left government headed by Ek Nayanar not constitutional mentioning the bill that the party government then passed unconstitutional.
Against this Congress MLA Mathew Kuzhalnadan moved violations of the privilege of two main CPM leaders, after which showed that there was no direction of a court like that at all and therefore was a violation of the privilege of members of the Assembly.
Kanam Rajendran also stated surprised and said there was no need to rush this, when this asse mpbly was ready to be held.
